Product Description How To Apply Notes: Only apply when the surface and air temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F, and will stay above 50°F for the next 24 hours. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours of application. Apply to a small test area and let it dry to ensure an acceptable appearance and penetration. If the sealer is not absorbed into the surface after 3 hours, the surface is not suitable for a sealer. Areas can be wiped clean with warm soapy water. PS-8700 will not bond any loose sand in paver joints but will cause any loose sand to stick to the roller and could be spread across the pavers with the sealer. If your paver joints have loose sand, we recommend using a sprayer for application. Allow newly poured concrete 4 weeks to cure before applying a sealer. Surface Prep Clean the surface to be coated by scrubbing and/or pressure washing, ensuring the surface is clean and free of all contaminants and cleaning residue. Allow the surface to completely dry before application. Thoroughly shake before and throughout use. Do not dilute; this sealer is ready to use. Always apply to a small area to test porosity and to ensure compatibility and desired results. Protect surfaces not intended to be sealed. Application Using a sprayer, brush, or roller, apply a thin, even coat to the surface, rolling out any drips or puddles for consistent coverage. Allow 2-4 hours to dry before recoating. More dense surfaces may need only a single coat, while extremely absorbent surfaces will require multiple coats. Clean-up Using mild soap and warm water, thoroughly clean equipment. Sealer will stain clothing. Drying Time Normally dries in 2-4 hours when the temperature is between 50°F and 85°F. Drying times may vary based on temperature, humidity, film build, and air movement. Allow 24 hours for heavy foot traffic and 48 hours for vehicle traffic. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours of application. Resealing BEEST PS-8700 can be applied over previously sealed concrete if wear is even with no delamination of the existing sealer. Solvent-based sealers may need to be stripped before applying.
