Usage Guidelines

Before You Begin: 1. Always conduct a test on a small, inconspicuous area of approximately 4 square feet to ensure the desired results are achieved. 2. Pressure Washing: Thoroughly pressure wash the area to be sealed, ensuring the surfaces are clean and free of oil, efflorescence, laitance, or other contaminants. Remove at least 1 to 2 inches of the old joint sand to allow for the replacement with new coarse sand between the paver joints. 3. Rinsing: Rinse the pavers with water. If any acids or cleaners were used during the cleaning phase, make sure they are thoroughly rinsed before proceeding with the sealing process.

How to Use: Step 1: Shake it Slightly - Before use, gently shake the product to ensure maximum effectiveness. Step 2: Apply Evenly and Thinly - Apply a thin layer of the sealer to the surface, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next. The recoat time typically ranges from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the thickness of the layer. For best results, it is recommended to apply two layers to enhance the effect. Note: Drying time is influenced by temperature, humidity, and coating thickness, based on conditions of 68°F and 55% humidity. Avoid applying the coating too thickly, ensuring no signs of excessive flow or pooling on the surface, especially for the initial layer. We recommend using a roller for application. Tips: 1. When using a sprayer, it is recommended to mix water and sealer in a ratio of 0.5:1 by volume. There is no need to dilute the sealer when using brushes, rollers, or other application tools. If the sealer is sprayed on, back-roll for a uniform thickness. For added sheen and durability, additional coats (no more than 3) may be applied. 2. Ensure the sealer is applied evenly to prevent blotching. Using a roller is recommended for consistent results.

Step 3: Drying Time - The sealer will dry to the touch in 0.5 to 1 hour. Allow the first coat to dry for 3-4 hours before deciding if a second coat is needed.

Application Conditions: - Surface must be clean, dry, and warm to the touch. - Temperature must be between 50°F and 85°F during application and for the next 24 hours. - No rain should be forecasted for the next 24 hours. - Use a consistent application method over the entire surface.
